Born in Milan, November 1997, Federica grew up nourished by art and nature.
At a young age, she discovered a passion for the body and sensation of movement, climbing trees and scratching knees in the meadows surrounding her family home.
Resigned to imitating the ‘circus on TV’ by jumping from one sofa to another, Federica practiced classical dance until her life collided with the circus yet again by complete coincidence. The Piccola Scuola di Circo of Milan opened a few steps from her family home and she was enrolled at just six years old.
Two years later, she saw swinging trapeze performed for the first time and there, while observing him on stage, she thought that when she grew up she would like to do just that: the trapeze artist.
Later, she developed a passion for Latin, Ancient Greek and creative writing while attending her classical studies in high school.
In 2017, at nineteen years old, she is admitted to the Scuola di Circo FLIC in Turin, where she began to focus on swinging trapeze, guided with passion and dedication by the director of the school, Matteo Lo Prete.
She spent three years rich in experiences and encounters, with many opportunities to participate in the creation of collective shows. In this field, she comes into contact with personalities who influence her vision of the circus, such as Roberto Magro, Claudio Stellato, Francesco Sgrò and many others.
In 2020, she was admitted directly to the third year of the Centre Nationals des Arts du Cirque/CNAC in Châlons-en-Champagne. There, she continued her technical and artistic training, always seeking to find her personal imprint in living in the void, fascinated by the latter’s encounter with the human body, the art of suspension and the manipulation of gravity.
Her school career ends nicely with the tour of the CNAC’s professional insertion show in circus tent, "After
All", directed by Séverine Chavrier.
Today, she continues to offer her body to the scene, inhabiting the void and the ground acrobatically and artistically, through different projects that give the opportunity to cross with theater, dance and the hybridization of the living arts; as well as dedicating her passion and experience to training new generations of swinging trapeze artists.
